Civil Partnerships
Since 2004, when the law on same sex marriage changed, giving gay and lesbian couples the same rights as heterosexual couples with the UK. Civil Partnerships, or gay weddings have become more and more popular. Under the Civil Partnership Act same sex couples now have the same rights and responsibilities, so opening the door for gay weddings throughout the UK.
